Media madness

It has been a long, full day and already I feel so lucky to be here in Florida for SB44. We woke up early to make it here to Ft. Lauderdale by lunch time, grabbed lunch right by the beach (ahh, 75 degrees feels awesome!), and then we rolled on over to the NFL Media Center. The idea was mostly just to wander around the media center, see radio row, and basically just take in all of the fun. Lots of current and former player sightings including Tony Gonzalez, Knowshon Moreno, Michael Oher, Michael Irvin, Jerry Rice (and his huge mantourage), Tiki Barber, Archie Manning, Ray Rice, Chad Ochocinco, Barry Sanders, Leonard Weaver…really there is no end to the list. I tried to take a few photos and will see if I can get some up over the next few days.

Other highlights to the day include an acoustic set from The Who at the media center and a chance to hear the NFLPA (NFL Players Association) talk about the potential for a lockout in 2011.

Great day all around – we’re heading down to South Beach for dinner tonight with some Buffalo Wild Wings folks. Keep an eye on my tweets for updates throughout the day!
